("Quest") was founded in 1995 by Charles W. Sewright in response to a growing mortgage banking industry need for quality consulting, advisory, and outsourcing services. The company was created to assist banks and mortgage companies in their pursuit of quality through cost effective, compliant programs. Since that time, Quest has grown to provide mortgage-related services to a broad base of clients nationwide. Given the extensive and varied experience base of its management and staff, Quest provides services offering quality control and state/federal regulatory compliance outsourcing programs, due diligence programs, TPO certification programs, operational reviews and improvement programs, policy development, and advisory consulting in various areas. Quest’s Chairman & CEO, Charles Sewright, has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry and corporate financial management. As President and CEO of three national, full-service mortgage banking companies, he directed the loan production, loan servicing, and quality control elements of the mortgage companies; and was extensively involved in the acquisition of loan/servicing portfolios and mortgage operations including due diligence. Mr. Sewright has been actively involved in the mortgage industry on a national scale. He served two four-year terms on the Mortgage Bankers Association of America’s Board of Governors and two years as a member of its Executive Committee. He was also Chairman of the Freddie Mac Liaison Committee and continues his active involvement with the MBA as a member of the Legislative, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance Committees. In addition, he served on the Fannie Mae National Advisory Council and the Freddie Mac CEO Roundtable. Sewright is a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). |
